Restoring financial trust as the foundation for continued care

3,200+ billing contacts a month. A 45-day information blackout after every session. I ran the research that reframed a UX cleanup as a retention problem, then designed a three-layer strategy — a new billing page, an AI support agent, and a proactive communication roadmap — to close the trust gap.

Healthcare design is a moral responsibility

When users are scared, in pain, or lost in a system they don't understand, a bad interaction has real consequences. I carry that weight into every decision.

Words are design decisions

The button label, the error message, the empty state — they're as consequential as any layout choice. I write everything I ship.

Design and engineering should share the problem

The best work I've been part of happened when design and engineering co-owned the challenge from the start — not when I handed over a spec.

Equity isn't a feature — it's the baseline

In healthcare, who gets access to a good experience determines who gets access to care. Accessible, inclusive design isn't a stretch goal. It's the job.

A little more about me

I've spent the last few years designing the hard parts of healthcare that are often overlooked. Edge cases are where the real design happens.

Lately I've been thinking a lot about how to reduce the cognitive load on users who are already navigating something difficult — and how good design can make that burden a little lighter.
